On The Road to Emmaus
The Road to Emmaus by Annette Gagliardi (This is a first draft. You may get to see another form of this as I research and revise.) There were three roads to Emmaus. Israel built a church on each of them, since they didn’t know which road the risen Jesus walked with the unsuspecting apostles. Luke, Cleopas and one other (note that some say, only two were walking: Cleaopas & his wife, Mary) traveled to Emmaus, when joined by a certain someone whom they all should have known. Yet unrecognized, he spoke, asking them about their conversation and they replied about all that had been happening. Jerusalem was in turmoil. The crucified Jesus removed from his tomb.
